Documenting Studio Work

Kyri Mouzouris is a ceramicist based in Highgate. With a background in architectural design and a hands-on foundation in carpentry, blacksmithing, and ceramics, his studio Muzuri Ware was established, specialising in the creation of refined, functional utility ware.​

His practise is deeply influenced by Japanese craft and design principles, with a particular emphasis on texture, material integrity, and the beauty of imperfection. Working primarily with locally sourced, foraged materials and wild clay to produce distinctive, considered pieces.  

 

Currently, focus lies in crafting bespoke tableware and tea-ware, supplying a number of Michelin-starred restaurants throughout the UK, US, Europe & Japan.
